TESLA MODEL 3 COMMERCIAL
This was put together myself using footage from various sources and audio recordings of Elon Musk giving speeches.
OUTDOOR AD #1 - MALL SIGN
This ad was created for out-of-home use, including shopping mall displays. The background was a free stock photo I sourced, and the car was edited into the scene. The copy, written by myself, speaks to the car’s affordability and elegant design simultaneously.
OUTDOOR AD #2 - MALL SIGN
This ad was created using a pre-shot photo of the Model 3 in a landscape scene. The photo to the left shows a mockup of the ad placed at an outdoor shopping area. The copy focuses on the Model 3 being a dream come true for Tesla (by offering an electric vehicle for the masses), and a dream come true for drivers looking to own a cost-effective Tesla vehicle.
OUTDOOR AD #3 - SUBWAY
 This ad, displayed in a subway station, was created using a photo shot by Tesla, with grass added by myself in Photoshop. Aside from having a ring to it, the headline placed on the grass creates a visual connection between the Model 3 and eco-friendliness.
OUTDOOR AD #4 - SUBWAY
This ad was created with a photo shot by Tesla. The point of the headline is that electric, zero-emission, transport is the future and with the Model 3, that future is accessible today. The copy in the bottom-left provides more information on the car’s features.
OUTDOOR AD #5 - SPORTS ARENA
This ad, shown here on a jumbotron in a sporting arena, was created with a photo shot by Tesla. The red streaks, as well as copy and design elements, were added by myself. The point is simple: this is Tesla’s most affordable vehicle for the middle class.
OUTDOOR AD #6 - BILLBOARD
This final ad, shown on a billboard, was created with a stock photography background and the Model 3 was added in with Photoshop. The headline means that if the audience purchases a Model 3, they will no longer need to stop at gas stations and they will have a luxurious experience driving the car.

SOCIAL MEDIA PROMOTION
I developed Facebook and Instagram promotions meant to increase Tesla’s user engagement and promote the Model 3. The Instagram contest required users to post about how they are making eco-friendly choices for a chance to win a Model 3. The Facebook application, featured on their Facebook page, allowed users to customize their Model 3 and share their creations with friends.

NATIVE DISPLAY ADVERTISING
This newer type of online advertising places the ad right along the content of a website for a more seamless ad experience. Below are mockups of content ads on a technology website and a business website.

SEARCH ENGINE ADVERTISING
Results advertising in Google, Yahoo, and Bing search engines were planned as part of the online component of the campaign. The ads would direct users to the Model 3 landing page where they could make a deposit to reserve a car.
